AMR collection projects record revenues of US$12 million in Dominican Republic
"AMR Collection expects to close 2021 with more than US$ 12 million in sales revenue from the hotels managed by the brand in the Dominican Republic."
Stated by Luis Felipe Núñez, AMR Collection's regional commercial director in the DR, during the celebration of the hotel chain's 20th anniversary, where he also emphasized that despite the pandemic "we will manage to achieve together the highest revenue ever recorded in sales for hotels in the DR".
"All this then leads us to end 2021 much better than we had drawn a few months ago, and ready to face 2022 with many expectations and novelties that are already just around the corner. We are ready and strong with our portfolio of 11 properties, 5 brands and presence in several destinations in the country: Puerto Plata, Bayahibe, Cap Cana, Punta Cana and Miches, controlling almost 6,000 keys that represent 11% of the hotel supply in the destination... and if that wasn’t enough, with several projects at the door that will help us continue to grow as leaders in tourism in this beautiful country," he said.

The celebration also included a gala dinner where AMR Collection's Vice President of Operations, Daniel Hernández, during his speech highlighted the social work that the company has carried out in its 20 years and which has had a positive impact on the communities near the hotels managed by the chain.
Hernández thanked the investors and owners for trusting in the company, as well as all the AMR Collection collaborators for their dedication and effort. He also expressed his gratitude to Unlimited Vacation Club (UVC) for all their collaboration in making the celebration possible.
During his speech, on the occasion of the chain's anniversary, the executive said that after the economic recovery curve and the post-pandemic tourism sector, they are "enormously grateful" to their great business partners, local operators and travel agencies for their achievements.
"Not only were and continue to be cornerstones in recovering the brand's performance dynamics in the market and that of each of the 11 resorts with their well-identified key selling points - even in the worst of times, you were there. Thank you," Nunez emphasized.
In addition, and on the occasion of the celebration, which took place at the Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana hotel, the executive emphasized to thank the entire Commercial team, the Sales Directors, Revenue Managers and "the ladies of the local market and marketing office who continually do a spectacular job".
"It is vital to stop for a second and give thanks. To thank God for health and being alive - something that today is more relevant than ever, because 20 years are said fast, but they imply a series of challenges, situations and transcendental experiences that lead us to today, here and in the privileged position in which our brands find themselves", he added.
He also acknowledged the support of all those who have believed in the Marketing and PR strategy to maintain the brand's presence in the market and that of each of the 11 resorts with their well identified key selling points.
"I would also like to mention the owners and their representatives, for the trust placed in this commercial machine called Apple Leisure Group, with AMR Collection, in particular. We are here to continue to be the best option in sales and marketing in the sector and this will be reaffirmed with a target of more than US$30 million by 2022", emphasized Núñez
